My Versa no longer shows on bluetooth on Android phone. Started yesterday around 0900 hrs. Reinstalled app and restarted fitbit. The fitbit will however sync with laptop via bluetooth. Was there an update that broke the mobile app for android?

@fatchief and @Spawntrm Welcome to the Community. Thanks for the details mentioned.
It's pretty weird that your Versa isn't showing on your phone's Bluetooth settings. Your Versa should sync even though it's not showing on your phone's Bluetooth settings because it will use your phone's Bluetooth and the Fitbit. You can learn more about it by checking this article: What should I know about using the Fitbit app on my Android phone?
If you have any other device paired to your Versa, please try turning it off and let your Versa sync with your phone. If it's still not syncing please try this syncing troubleshooting.
I'll be around if you need further assistance.

The app keeps "searching for tracker" but only finds it intermittently. It connects for a while then disappears as an available bluetooth device. I reinstalled the software on the phone and the computer. I have also restarted the device. Like I said before it just started yesterday morning. There must have been some kind of update or maybe a glitch somewhere. I have to have an accurate upload of data since this is tied to my health insurance plan. I will keep fiddling with it.

It syncs just fine with the desktop app in windows 10. It is not working anymore with the android app which was tried with different android devices. This is something you might want your developers to take a look at. Maybe this is a Google update issue now that Google owns fitbit? I am sure you guys/gals can figure this out.

@fatchief Thanks for getting back.
I would like you to remove your Versa from your desktop's Bluetooth or any other device's Bluetooth and then leave your Versa near your Android phone to check if it syncs. You could check this by going to the Fitbit app and below your watch's picture it will show when the last time it synced.
Let me know how it goes.

Unfortunately it did not work. The phone will not even show the device available in bluetooth. Neither will my android tablet. The only device that will show the Versa is my desktop. What does how up is a "MISC" device. Usually, I see "VERSA". When I try to connect to "MISC", it doesn't work either. My phone's bluetooth does work with other devices. So now I can only sync with my desktop once a day instead of continuously with my phone. It has to be an android app issue and I cannot believe I am the only one. Who can assist with this?
