I upgraded my phone from Samsung Galaxy 6 to a 10 and I'm still not receiving notifications on my versa

Hi @Ripleysmom. Welcome to the Forums!

 

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Your Samsung Galaxy S10 is a compatible device and the notifications should be working. However, since this isn't the case let's try some steps together. Since you have a Versa, verify if the notifications are enabled on your watch. You'll need to swipe down from the top of the screen, tap the quick settings icon and make sure the Do Not Disturb (circle with line icon) and Sleep Mode (moon icon) are turned off.

 

Then, please try the following:

  1. Remove your Versa from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Turn off other Bluetooth connections nearby. This is just for this process.
  3. Reboot your phone and restart your Versa.
  4. Open the Fitbit app and set up the notifications one more time.

 

Let me know how everything goes.

I thought everything was OK because I starting receiving incoming phone call notifications; however, I am still not getting text notifications

Hi @Ripleysmom, thanks for keeping me updated and I'm sorry for the delay.

 

I'm glad the call notifications are now working! Since the text messages notifications aren't going through your Versa, I'd recommend to try the following troubleshooting:

 

  1. Open your "Messages" app on your Samsung Galaxy S10 phone.

  2. Go to "Settings."

  3. Click on "Notifications."

  4. Make sure there is a check mark next to "Preview Message" 

  5. Then go back to the Fitbit app and sync your Versa.

 

If the issue persists, I'll need you to provide me with the text messaging app chose to receive notifications.

good afternoon.   I did as you suggested but I still am not receiving text message notifications.   I am using messages as the text appSent from my T-Mobile 4G LTE Device
