I have a Fitbit Versa and a Samsung S9, and I have the same problem. It's not only ant IOS problem. I can't get my text notifications or emails. My f.b. and Instagram notifications show up, but my watch doesn't vibrate. I even downloaded another app that supposed to help. No luck. Called Fitbit. That was useless. It's very frustrating.

Thanks for sharing that you're having issues to receive some notifications, as well that your Versa doesn't vibrate when receiving app notifications. I appreciate your efforts while working on this, I understand that our Android users are experiencing similar issues with the notifications and let me help you out. About the text and email notifications, may I know your phone's Android version? Do you have the Fitbit app updated to the latest version? Have you also tried the troubleshooting described in this help article?
In regards to your other inquiry, does your Versa vibrate for silent alarms or reminders to move? If not, I'd recommend to restart it and monitor its behavior.

I understand how you're feeling about not being able to receive notifications. Our team has received feedback from our Android members and they're also working to bring a fix as fast as possible. While there isn't a time frame, please make sure to keep the Fitbit app updated as well to have allowed the Fitbit app to run on the background. Be sure that your comments won't go unnoticed and will be passed along to our team.

I do not get text, email or call notifications on my versa. Did at one time but not sure what Fitbit is doing. Does Fitbit just stop that feature or will it be addressed?

I'm having the same issues, and was on chat for at least an hour yesterday trying to figure it out. I don't receive text messages, email, or phone call notifications at all. I have done all the usual things as well. I have deleted, re-installed, turned off BT and turned it back on. Re-synced, etc. I did everything the tech asked me to do yesterday during the chat session. I just received my Versa Lite as a xmas gift yesterday from my co-worker, and she is stymied as well. She has a different type of Fitbit that is more simple, but tried to look at the app to see if there was anything I might have missed as well. Nothing..... Its very very frustrating. At the moment, all I have is a watch that watches my BPM and Steps (for the most part). I'm frustrated. Fixing this issue any time soon? Now my co-worker wants to up-grade and get herself one like mine, but is waiting now because of the text and email issue. She is glued to her phone and relies on the notifications for the job she does. HELP! ???

Thanks for taking the time to troubleshoot your Versa with our Support team. I understand how important this feature is for you and your co-worker and I'm sorry for this inconvenience. As mentioned above, this was reported to our team and they're currently investigating to bring a solution as soon as possible. In the meantime, I'd recommend to make sure the notifications settings are correct on your watch by swiping down from the top of the screen, tap the quick settings icon and turn off the Do Not Disturb (circle with line icon) and Sleep Mode (moon icon) settings.

If you've not done so, I'd recommend to try the steps posted above, as well to make sure the notifications are enabled correctly and the Fitbit app is updated to the latest version.

I don't get notifications of messages on my versa watch. I just got mine today and did all the necessary setups. I just want Fitbit to be aware of this issue so they can solve it. Thank you.

Thanks for keeping me updated about your watches and their behavior after trying the steps posted above. I see where you're coming from as the notifications should be working flawlessly. As mentioned above, our team is aware about this issue which has affected some of our Android users and they're investigating to bring a solution as soon as possible. Got a new fitbit versa 2 for xmas and notification not working at all, followed all the advise in the thread already and nothing working, also seeing intermittent sync failures in the app for the watch, never had this with my previous Charge 2 device so not getting a good experience from a brand new device!!! a lot of people seem to having issue with new device, which from these posts has been going on for some time now for both android and ISO users
