Hi,
My new versa has the wrong time, how do I correct the time on the watch please? Also it doesn't show sleep pattern, not syncing. Phone is a samsung s8

I appreciate the information and details that were shared in your post, sorry for the difficulties experienced with your Versa. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know when was the first time you experienced syncing difficulties? I'd like to let you know that your Fitbit device use your mobile device information to display the time, therefore, the time is incorrect because you haven't recently synced.
That said, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your Android mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed. Also, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.
