Cannot get my mobile phone to sync with the Fitbit Versa. It just keeps asking for permissions to be set. I've okayed all permissions and it  still will not work. Using a Google Pixel 4 Xl. Got to be a compatibility issue. It will sync with my computer.

@Marlenej Thanks for the quick reply and the explanation.

I am so sorry to read that everything you have tried has not resolved this. Please make sure your Fitbti app is up to date and check all permissions again. Yeah the stats show on your phone, since you synced with the computer. The data goes to your account. The app then shows the updated content of your account.

I understand your frustration. That is why I recommend you contact support (click here) either via email, chat or phone. Chat would be the best option in my opinion. They will continue helping you. Have a nice day!

@Marlenej Nice to see you in the forums again. I will gladly help you sync your Versa again with the Fitbit app.

I suggest you check this help article out: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? - click here. Here you find tips for this scenario. I checked on the internet and your device has the Android minimum requirements in order to sync. You should also read the following article and check if the Fitbit app is allowed to run in the background:.

Have a nice day.

The help articles you suggested does not help. MY Versa will sync with my computer but will not sync with my Pixel 4XL. On the phone I keep getting Nearby Permission Required to Syne. I hit Fix It and it takes me to the permissions settings. All permissions have been granted including the Nearby permission. It does not recognize anything.  However, throughout the day, because I had already synced with the computer, some stats will show up on my phone.  The phone itself will not sync and I am not receiving calls or texts on my watch.  Right now, I am extremely disappointed in Fitbit support.  For a watch that was 100% fine before the 4/5/22 and 4/18/22 updates this is not acceptable.

As of yesterday with a Android 12 update my Versa is now perfectly syncing with my Pixel 4 XL phone. However the Versa will not pair to my phone. If I do a soft restart on my watch and try to add my device the phone will find the Versa but it will not connect. I'm at a loss as to what to try next. Syncing is not the problem anymore but pairing is.
