Versa shows "Data not cleared"

Trying to turn my fitbit back on. I get a red X with a message saying 'data not cleared, sync and try again'. My fitbit wont sync.  I've held down the bottom properly  but won't change. Anyone able to help me with this?

Hi @LAutor. It's great to have you on board!

 

Thanks for letting me know about your Versa, and the steps that you've tried prior posting. Usually that message is displayed when your Fitbit device needs to be reconnected to your account, so let's try the following steps:

 

  1. Remove the Versa from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Open the Fitbit app and tap on the profile's icon.
  3. Tap on setup a new device, choose the Versa and tap on replace device.
  4. Follow the onscreen instructions and wait until the process is completed.
