Versa will not connect to note 8 to allow calls and messages to be received....

Welcome to the Forums @Poppa83.
This might be happening because the Note 8 is not currently part of the supported devices list. This means that the app has not been fully optimized to work with that phone. You can see that there is a Note 8.0 but that refers to a tablet released a number of years ago.
As long as it fulfills the minimum requirements, Android 4.4 and Bluetooth 4.0, there is a possibility that it can work but we cannot guarantee it. Some users of unsupported devices have mentioned that following these steps helps with the notifications.
In the meantime, maybe you could support this suggestion to include the Note 8 on the list. Voting for it or commenting on it is a great way to show your support. Be sure to read the FAQ to better understand how that board works.

You misunderstood me. Its NOT working correctly now and hasn't in a week....I need the text and phone notifications to work for emergencies and work... #iPhoneinthefuture

I'm sorry, I did misunderstand what you meant.
As I mentioned, it could be because the Note 8 is not part of the list. Having said that, did you try the steps I mentioned above? If not, please give them a shot.

Tried everything you suggested, nothing.... It sucks I buy the Versa and pay $1100 for a phone and all of a sudden it's no longer able to accept calls or texts.. #pissedinKY

Thanks for trying those steps. I definitely understand how this can be frustrated.
Additionally, you could try to use a computer or another mobile device to try and sync your Fitbit to your account. Click here to get instructions on how to sync with other devices.
Be sure to support the suggestion like I mentioned above.

Evidently the note 8 is compatible with the Versa because it's working now.. I don't know what happened but thanks for helping..

I would have thought that it would connect to the Note 8. It was working , today waad the first time I noticed it wasn't connected. I've tried everything.

I'd like to ask if the situation has continued since you posted. Keep in mind that since the Note 8 fulfills the minimum requirements then it can work but we cannot guarantee. If you have access to another device you could try to use it to sync.
