Version do not match with tracker and Fitbit app

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi,

My surf wont pair with my phone (Samsung galaxy s7). Then later I found that my surg version was 163... . And the version on the fitbit app was 219...(difrent).

Does that have to do with my surg not pairring, or is it something else?

Thank you

* excuse my spelling and grammar

Hello @R_gasim, nice to have you here as a new member of the Fitbit Community! No, in this case the version may vary from the Fitbti app and the firmware of your Surge, so don't worry about the versions are different.

For your Android app I believed you are running the latest versions, since at the date of this post the last update is 2.60. For your Fitbit Surge the last update is 16.34.6.1 and if your app is not letting you know there is a pending update, then you are running the last update.

You mentioned your surge won't pair with your phone, however I can see in your Community profile you have paired a Fitbit Surge. Let me know if the issue persists or if the issue you are experiencing is at the moment to sync your tracker.

If is the latter, the following post will provide you some extra help: Having trouble syncing? (here's how to fix this)

See you later and stay tuned to the Fitbit Community for more help.
