Walk activity not adding steps into dashboard

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I just got a pixel watch 2. I select walk activity but it's not adding the steps into my dashboard. I can see the activity on my dashboard, and it shows distance, steps, etc. but it does not add into dashboard. See screenshots.

says I've only done 1313 steps today, but on my walk I took 4830 steps. Does this every time. Oddly enough, it corrects itself the next day. So by tomorrow, these stats will be correct. But still annoying.

Hello @BookwormKD

There's a known issue on the Fitbit side that affects data syncing, including step tracking and seeing all the data from completed workouts. The team is aware of the issue and has been working on fixing the problem.

At least you're seeing the correct number of steps on the following day. That indicates to me that your data is being uploaded to your account on the Fitbit servers and it's the syncing issue that is causing the discrepancy.

For now, there isn't any troubleshooting we can do since the problem is on the Fitbit side. We'll have to wait until the team gets the problem fixed.
