My husband and I usually walk the same route together in the evening. I have been using the exercise mode to track it and get pace, distance, etc. For the last 3 days, the Fitbit app has been showing a really fast walking pace. And the distance is completely wrong. It will say I have walked half a mile when I have walked about 3 blocks and the pace is faster than a running pace. I have restarted the Fitbit band by plugging into the power and holding button down. I have restarted my phone numerous times and this hasn't fixed the issue. Any idea on what I can do to get it to be accurate?
Thanks everyone!!!

I am using a Fitbit Charge 3. My Android phone is a Samsung Galaxy A50. The maps/distance/stride has all been working great for the last weeks since I started tracking my walks. In general, I walk the same route, with the same distance.
On Monday, of this week, us when the Fitbit app started having problems when I was walking. So, I would try to stop and delete the walk while I was on the walk but that didn't fix the problem. I decided not to map the route and it does fine and pucks up the walk and counts it as activity when I am done.
Today, I decided just to let the app do it's thing. When I got home this evening, it says my distance was 4.1miles. In the previous weeks it has come up as 3.4 miles. I have let it automatically set my stride with no issues until Monday.
I am not sure what else to do...thanks for your help!

Also, I don't track any other exercise (like running, hiking, etc) as I don't run. Walking is the only function I use.

Last night I logged out of Fitbit and then uninstalled the Fitbit app from my phone. I restarted my phone. Reinstalled the Fitbit app and signed in. I also charged and reset my Fitbit watch as well.
We went on our walk this evening, and everything worked properly and tracked accurately!
I have no idea what happened but it works fine now.

So, my Fitbit Charge 3 was doing great for about 3 days. Tracking distance was accurate and was having no issues. All of a sudden yesterday and today, it is showing the distance longer than it should be. Just like it was before.
I really shouldn't have to keep signing out of the Fitbit app, uninstalling Fitbit, restarting phone, reinstalling Fitbit app, and signing back in. What else can I do?
I have a Fitbit Charge 3 and my phone is a Samsung A50.
Thanks for your help!
