Walks not being recorded in exercise history

My fitbit one doesn't always record my walks or map them in my exercise history.... I can't understand why it seemingly randomly records some but not others....help!

Hi there @Janbo41, welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community! Are you using all the time MobileRun to track your walk or is it happening with a regular walk and additionally with GPS activities? Have you tried to use other category of exercise (Hike, Run) if this is happening with MobileRun feature?

If you are using your MobileRun feature to track your map course, I would suggest the following troubleshooting steps:

Log out from your Fitbit app and go to your phone settings. Access to the App manager option and look for the Fitbit app in your downloaded apps list. Once you are there, clear the app cache and data and proceed to "Force Stop" the app. Finish the workaround by restarting your phone. When your phone has initialized, go back to your app and try again.

I saw other people have had similar problems, particularly when the walk is paused and restarted, so I've tried not pausing, and so far so good... my walks and maps are recording.
