"Since Fitbit can't do their job allow me to do it for them. Do all of these steps on your phone.
1.) Delete your Fitbit app
2.) Go to this URL to install the app.
Go to https://goo.gl/Vs5Ku4
3.) Login and setup....you're welcome
As for the Fitbit engineers...you all suck at updates. Get it right and actually do some field testing on your betas before release. It shouldn't take you this long to make a patch update. Also be adults and admit when you made mistakes...Your reps have done an awful job discussing this with me."
* 3rd time they have tried to take this down.I am not going down without a fight!

I have only experienced the current version. What does this older version fix? I can't seem to keep my mobile devices logged in for more than a few days after I **ahem** "complain" about it here and some magical stuff happens on the backend. I'm almost 3 weeks in, and it's been this way since the get-go.
Edit: really, censorship? You put "**ahem** in place of certain words without any context or notification? Really?!?!?! -.-

It syncs according to AVRCO 1.4 which is more widely accepted as the platform for Bluetooth communication. Install it and try. It should work. If it doesn't respond and I'll actually try to help you, unlike Fitbit's lame support.

Thank you for this suggestion. Although I have not followed this path before of installing 'non-supported' apps I followed the link and download. Now back at 2.63 which has its problems but at least my non-supported phone works as it had for a year. Did try 2.65 first but this was the same since my phone is not on the list, not everybody has the latest fancy phone. Thanks again

What version of android do you have? I know of others having more success with release 2.55 which is also on that link. Try it out and let me know. I am here to help even though Fitbit isn't paying me to do their job.

They have deleted my suggestion in other threads several times. I'm not shocked they censor you. I personally don't care. We're all adults here if someone doesn't like your language LOL they don't have to respond. I say write whatever you want as long as it's truthful.

Having done all the recommended, I can get in sometimes, then must redo all the steps since yesterday. This is definitely a software issue. And, NO, I haven't done the latest Microsoft update.

This is for Android devices and has nothing to do with Microsoft devices.

@walkerDB tell me what device. Version of Android OS and version of Bluetooth you are running and I'll actually see what I can recommend to try.

Thank you so very much!
You are 1000x more helpful than fitbit, who's only response to any query I have ever is essentially that I should buy a different phone because I'm not using a "supported device". Obviously it is my fault for having the wrong phone... Silly me to expect them to put actual effort into making a good product that works moderately well across assorted devices.

Try out ver 2.65.1 (2193243)
(There are 2 versions of 2.65.1)
There is a new option
"Keep alive widget"
Give it a try,
It seems better.

Completely agree, Fitbit support had no idea ! They blamed on compatibility even though compatible phones were also unable to sync. If they just admit and said We are working to resolve this issue, I was fine waiting. Just updated my phone with the latest update release from Fitbit, appear as sync worked. Not sure if sync was accurate or not. After all of conversation with Fitbit support, I have no confidence with them.

They deleted my comments also. Because I said a big thumbs down and will alert other users. What's wrong with that ?

Hi which version did you update too? Is yours a compatible or non-compatible phone. Not sure I can be bothered to try another upgrade at this time

Hi the latest version 2.65.1 (2193243) it has the new function "sync service" , it seems to fix the problem.
My phone is a samsung galaxy s4 upgraded to android lolipop.
I too was getting fed up with the ongoing problems.
Maybe Fitbit will now be a bit more carefull before teleasing updates.
