The weather app is in celcius. I went to the dash board under advanced settings an in the units it does not list anywhere to change weather or temperature. Also having syncing issues.

Hi, @Shedhed , since not all Fitbits have access to the weather app, the Celsius / Fahrenheit setting is not available in the general unit settings in the Fitbit app.
In this case you will need to go to the Fitbit app and click on your device icon (or select it from your account settings)
Next, click on the "Apps" tile. That will bring up a list of available and installed apps. Click on "weather" amd there you will find "settings" . On the next screen you will see "units" . Select that, and you will be able to toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
Always be sure to sync your Fitbit whenever you make any settings changes in the app to make sure that they update on your Fitbit.
I hope this helps. Welcome to the forums!

Hi, @Shedhed , I am glad that worked for you.
Sync issues do crop up now and again, but I expect yours will go back to syncing, if you decide to keep it.
I know the issue of counting steps while on the arms is an issue that comes up over and over again -- and yes, it is a problem! If you wear it on yur arm, you will sometimes get extra steps when you wave your arms about, "talk" with your hands, shake hands vigourously, even clap enthusiastically at a concert... You will also sometimes miss steps if you are pushing a shopping cart at the supermarket or walking around indoors (especially on a soft carpet).
When I first wore my wrist Fitbit, like you, I was really worried about this -- so much so that I bought the body worn pedometer that the Journal of American Medicine at that time rated as the most accurate pedometer (step counter) on the market. It turned out that was also a Fitbit (the Fitbit "One", now sadly discontinued).
I am a bit of a geek, and also I was in some "challenges" with other people and I really worried that I was cheating -- because I wave my hands about a lot! So I set up the One (that's the body worn pedometer) on one Fitbit account, and my wrist Fitbit on another account. Then I had my accounts "friend" each other, so they could compete...
The results surprised me. Yes, in any given day, one or the other might have more steps. But over a month, they were remarkably close -- and, crucially, on my most active days, my wrist Fitbit was closest to the body pedometer...
The moral of the story? Yes, if you rarely walk and mostly just wave your hands about, you will probably get an exaggerated sense of achievement. But if you go out and walk -- and the more active you are -- the closer they will agree.
For me, I ultimately decided that the advantages I got from a wrist worn tracker, not only heartrate (which I really enjoy having, and can't have with a body worn tracker), but I also did not have to remember to switch it from pocket to pocket when I shed a jacket, or changed trousers... out weighed what turned out to be a VERY SMALL difference in step counts...
Sorry to be a bit long winded, but having tested this myself, I like to make sure people do not think that what they have bought is something that is simply "counting arm swings", as I have heard some say... (it definitely isn't -- I am sorry to say that I walk about with my hands in my pockets and yet my steps are counted... I am actually genuinely impressed with the programming... yeah, it gets it wrong here and there, but on balance, it isretty impressive.
Well, that's my experience, any way.
