Weight data changing itself

I have been on a weight loss plan for most of this year. I weigh myself on a set of Fitbit Aria scales first thing every morning and the weight and body fat percentage shows up in the Android app on my phone after the next synch. But I have also been tracking the results in an Excel spreadsheet and I have recently noticed that some time after recording the stats, the app will change the stored values. For example:

Yesterday the scales said I weighed 77.6kg with body fat percentage of 23.7. At breakfast I noted that this was shown correctly in the app. A couple of hours later I entered those values into my spreadsheet. Today, when I opened the app to enter this morning's values into the spreadsheet I see that yesterday's body fat value now shows as 23.8. I compared the app and spreadsheet data for the last month and there are 12 times the values are now different, most are for body fat but a few for the weight.

Has anyone else seen this? Why would data already recorded in the app change itself?

Fitbit Ionic (v27.32.4.18) and Surge HR (v16.34.6.1). Phone: HTC 10, Android 8.0.0 (v3.20.710.2)

If it is always by one digit in the last place, I presume it is rounding, maybe in going back and forth between main database and phone display.  You could try looking at the data on fitbit.com dashboard and see if it has changed.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

The data on the dashboard on fItbit.com matches what's showing on the app in my phone, so some of the values have changed after the initial time it was recorded and entered in the spreadsheet.

Hey @Andrew103 and @JohnnyRow!

Additionally to what @JohnnyRow mentioned, perhaps it could be a situation where the Dasboard is not loading up correctly for some reason. I'd recommend that you try to log out and then back into your account from both ends, fitbit.com and app. You can log out from the website by clicking on the gear icon on the top-left of the Dashboard and from the app by going into the 'Account' tab and all the way to the bottom.

Please do let me know if that helps out. Feel free to reach out with any questions.
