With the installation of this new update, why is all history being either deleted or not displayed? For example I am a 9-year Fitbit member and my weight data is no longer available prior to the last 2 years. I enjoy looking at trends seeing where I've been and where I am at. But this information is no longer displayed when changing time ranges.

I've just updated the fitbit app and all of my weight data since 2015 has been completed wiped, I've tried everything to get it back but am getting nowhere.

Exactly the same for me. Why does Fitbit no longer know what happened before Nov. 19, 2015? It's annoying.

On my iPhone there is no option under apps/fitbit/storage for “clear cache”

This is still not sorted one year later?

Absolutely no response from Fitbit..Trendweight is far far better anyway. Give up on Fitbit

I see it's being reviewed (for at least 6 months, but I digress...). Just wanted to throw my hat in to say I am another user who has had Fitbit since 2014 and am missing weight logs from 2014 through 2015. It is frustrating to me especially, as that is a period of time when I had a significant amount of weight loss and the comparison would be quite useful right now.

It is not just weight data for me, it is sleep data as well.

This was fixed for awhile, but the problem is back.

It is July 2025 and my history pre-Jan24 is still not accessible. Why has this not been resolved? I was forced to merge to my Google account, now everything is missing!

Mine is syncing with my Wyze scale just fine now. All my history is there.

Was this ever resolved? I'm currently experiencing this issue and should have data back to 2011 that's missing beyond a couple months. Thanks!

So... Any fix yet? 8 months later?

15 months since the answer from LizzyFitbit in April 2024 saying this is being looked into and it appears there is still no solution, and no update from Fitbi/Google. This is not good customer support!

Not that I know of. I can see more data than last year, but it's missing dates. The presentation is terrible compared to what it used to be, and takes forever to load.
I've given up on Fitbit about 6 months ago, and now use Trendweight for looking at my weight data. It's faster, automatically downloads the Fitbit data, does a better trend analysis, and better graphical presentation. I gave up the stress of trying to get Fitbit to work (I just use it to record data). Trendweight is also free at present...fantastic. It does show all my data back to 2014...so it's all there, just the Fitbit app won't process it, and gives a lousy graphical presentation.
Hope this helps! I followed another user's advice, and glad I did!

My historical data from my Aria 2 scale is also missing. Can this be recovered or has someone at google taken the decision to erase it?
