With the installation of this new update, why is all history being either deleted or not displayed? For example I am a 9-year Fitbit member and my weight data is no longer available prior to the last 2 years. I enjoy looking at trends seeing where I've been and where I am at. But this information is no longer displayed when changing time ranges.

Would not be the first time Google shuts down products.
Them shutting down the Web App was suspicious already. The signs are accumulating that they will milk Fitbit a little more and then sunset it altogether.
Them not even reacting to users who've spent thousands of Euros on their products (including non-Fitbit products) is maximally disrespectful and arrogant.

A few days ago, I clicked on the "All time" option, not expecting to see anything fixed since this has been a problem for so long, and lo and behold--my weight data going back to the beginning appeared! Previously the Fitbit app was only going back to November 2015 instead of 2013, when I joined. Woo hoo!

Yup, data seems to be back.
Thanks for the heads up.

I've seen two unrelated issues discussed in this thread: the bug, and the misfeature.
The "bug" was that our older data was mysteriously not getting displayed. We knew the data was there, because we could see it in Google Takeout, but nothing we did could make it reliably show up in the app. Now, the bug appears to be completely fixed! I know it is for me as well. Many thanks to the FitBit team for this!
The "misfeature" is the new(-ish) display style for the data itself, which collapses daily datapoints into averages. I know I'm not alone in finding this a huge regression. Seeing a single data point for each month, or each year, pales in comparison to seeing all the movements within that time period.
The answer to both the bug and misfeature was "Use Trendweight". Thankfully, the bug is fixed, giving me one fewer reason to seek out a third party site. But the misfeature remains, probably indefinitely --- thus, "Use Trendweight" is still the right answer for anyone who wants a reminder of the richer and more useful visualization that FitBit has taken away from us.

On the weight graph, is there anyway to show all data instead of average?
