The goal progress indicator is gone. This was a useful feature that is no longer available. Is the plan to kill this product? This is a way to drive users away

@Jaydee6276 I hadn't noticed. My guess is that not enough of us used it to make it worth keeping. I do see the progress on the Weight tile of the Today screen.
I don't like some the things that were removed like cups for water counting and the web for food, among other things. When the switch to a Google Watch 3 forced me to redirect my login to Googe and use Health Connect, I found that a number of vendors provide apps and websites that do a better job at data collection than Fitbit did. Using Health Connect lets me see in the Fitbit app things like calorie intake from Cronometer versus calorie output as collected from my GW3.
It looks to me like Google/Fitbit is streamlining the Fitbit app and concentrating on what the product does best, fitness collection, and on what users are using the most. My problem is the time it sometimes takes me to adapt to the changes.
I hope this helps and have a Terrific day!

broken. It provides a weight from some other day, but it isn't today's. So
not enough users of a Fitness tracker and app are tracking their weight? Or
trying to gain or lose? While you may be right, I am having trouble
understanding that
I never got into the water tracking and I have abandoned some of the
buggier features. If it just didn't work, I stopped using it.
Fitbit just sent me my 10 year badge, I still think it is 12, and I am
shopping for a new device. I didn't really think I would ever switch but
clearly google isn't giving them any love.
Thanks for your thoughts!
