Weight goal setup

Hi everyone,

I recently started using my aria scales again after not using them in a long time. It was time to get my health back!

I setup a goal initially of 10kg loss.

As I was losing, within the mobile app and under the graph of loss and trend, there was a little box which showed how much weight I had loss since the goal start weight.

I received 10kg loss in first 4 weeks, and achieved the goal. I then setup a new goal of another 10 loss and so now the box reset and shows how much weight I have loss since the start of the new goal.

I'd really like to change this back so it shows my total weight loss since I started rather than my loss since each goal set.

I have gone into settings and changed the start date to when I first started and my start weight to what I weighed at that time.

However, now it shows that I achieved my goal.... picture attached.

Will this go away and then show my weight loss as I set it up....or how can I fix it?

@AndeeB It's nice to see you in the Fitbit Community. Thank you for the detailed information shared.

First of all, let me congratulate you for your weight loss! Keep it up the good work.

I appreciate the detailed information shared. In regards to your inquiry, when you set a weight goal, it will show your weight loss since the start date. If you visit the weight tile, you'll see your weight trend for the past 30 days.

If you'd like that this could be visible since you started, please post your idea in our Feature Suggestion board, those are reviewed by our team and the status will change depending on Fitbit plans.

Hope to see your idea on the board. I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

Hi, I was able  to resolve this for the most part.

In doing so the goal achieved box went away.

The picture in this post shows how I set up.

I think the most important setting is the start date. Leave this as the current date, don't change to the date at which the 'start Weight' was actually recorded on. Otherwise, the goal achieve window will show and won't go away until you set a new goal.

The only problem with that is that it shows that your weight loss is from current/today's date rather than back when your start weight was actually recorded, which could of been months ago.

See here, it is saying I have lost 15.8kg from that same day I set the weight settings.

And it shows 'lost since 11/12' which in reality, my start weight of 139.8kg was recorded on the 12/10.

Hopefully, this helps and I may put in a feature request. I think this could be improved.
