Updated weight, manually entered, not registering on app. Charge 6, galaxy s24. Continuously shows original weight without updating to new manually added weight.

Hi @karen377. I moved your post to the Android app forum, a better fit for your issue. I hope a fellow Android user can help you troubleshoot this app issue.

Good day, I am having the same issue. I purchased a Charge 6 and installed the Fitbit app on my Pixel 6a about two months ago. Two days ago I upgraded to a new Pixel 9a from my old Pixel 6a. The Fitbit app "today" screen will not update weight. It still shows weight from two days ago. However, in the "You" screen it shows the current weight in the Health Connect data. So the scale is syncing with Health Connect and the Fitbit app can "see" the Health Connect data but the "Today" screen will not update.
I followed the steps you listed above:
Clear Cache/Force Stop/Uninstall/Re-install/Restart phone.
After, I had to re-pair my Charge 6 and re-do all the permissions for data access, location etc. After this nothing has changed. The weight displayed on the "today" screen is still from two days ago (before I changed to the new phone.) Do you have any other suggestions?
EDIT: I just looked at the app and thought it fixed itself.... the weight showed today but, at 9:30AM it said that the same weight from two days ago was manually added at 11:59PM. So the app is adding weight by itself in the future?
Thank you.

This is an on going issue. Since May 9 my weight has not updated on the "today" part of the Fitbit app. I can click on "you" and then on "Health connect data" and see all of my weights for every day updated to now.
Also on May 9 I upgraded to a new Pixel 9a from a Pixel 6a. The Pixel 6a has been deleted from my Google account. I have followed the instructions to force stop, delete data, uninstall Fitbit, restart phone, re-install Fitbit, re-approve all the permissions. I have done this many, many times. The issue persists.
How does this get fixed???
Pixel 9a, Android 15, Fitbit 4.44.1

Maybe I can help. I have a Google Pixel 9a phone too. As of today I can follow you instructions into "You" "Records" "Health Connect Data" "Body Measurements" "Weight" and it takes me to the page with all of my weight data.
And on the "Today" tab under "Health" I have a "weight" tile and it shows today's weight.
So in can work, can you work through the configurations and setting you have your app, and try different things. Let me know, and I'll try them on my end too to double check.

Hi there, @RodCa.
Thanks for the detailed information, and your efforts while working on this. Because it's been a while since you posted, may I know if the issue persists? If so, could you check if it's affecting other tiles such as exercise or heart rate?
Let me share that our team released a new update for the Fitbit app a few days ago, so make sure it's installed and monitor its behavior afterward.

Hi @RodCa you better pipe up soon or you'll get locked out of users wanting to work with you to resolve this. (with the concomitant bubbling up disappointment in having your kit not working correctly)

Yes the issue is still there. My weight on the Pixel 9a has not updated since I bought the phone on May 9. My old Pixel 6a worked fine. It has been deleted from my Google account erased and returned for trade in credit. As stated before I have went through the whole delete/uninstall/re-install process several times to no avail. Nothing has changed. Everything else works okay. I have the occasional glitches with the food tab not updating until the next day and the glitch with one or more of the health metrics (SO2, HRV) disappearing and Fitbit saying they are not installed. But, those always seem to return in a day or two. I have given up on the weight ever working and just continue to use the Renpho scale app. which does work fine and syncs with Health Connect within seconds of me weighing myself every morning.
