When will Fit bit add LG V20 to be compatible with Fit bit app??

Hello @MITZIHILL1, good to see you are visiting the Fitbit Community! The mobile device you have brought to our attention has all the hardware requirements to be a compatible device, but as you know is currently not on our list of supported devices. This means that we have not tested it for compatibility and added it to the list yet. While we are testing devices, there is not an specific time or schedule when a devices is going to be declare as compatible; this with the intention to avoid false expectations in case is determined the Mobile device won't be supported, if that were the case.

I suggest setting up and syncing via a device listed as supported or using a computer in the meantime or if you have found issues to operate your tracker with this mobile phone. Our team is always working to test and add more Android devices to the supported devices list, so keep an eye open for updates!

Please update your app so that it's compatible with the LG V20. It's a fairly new phone with current model specifications. There are DOZENS of us that like your product but will gladly return yours for one compatible with high end android phones.

So I have finally gotten a new phone after 4 years and I was excited to think that finally my charge 2 would be working with it, and low and behold I pick the V20 which is a newer phone and it isn't compatable?? It has all the requirements for the fit bit. Please make the fit bit compatable. I am very annoyed by this, I don't want to buy a new tracker as this one is only a month old! This needs to happen ASAP! RIDICULOUS! Thanks!

Hi @RobertoME As pointed out before, the current compatibility list is that much out of time, Fitbit could remove it completely. There's just one Android phone from 2017 (Galaxy S8) and most other phones are not available on the market any more. If this story continues, the only phones officially compatible with Fitbit must be bought second-hand on eBay.

Why can't FitBit just add the V20 its obviously a big request. Just Google it like I did to find this page. I just got an Alta Free so can't return it. But super disappointed I can't use all the features. No I won't buy Apple I can't stand them

Actually I talked to my Verizon guy and he helped me get it to connect properly and do all the features so I'm good now.

I just received the fitbit alta and would not have purchased it if I had been told upfront that it would not sync and work with my LG V20. Since this has been brought to the attention of fitbit this needs to be addressed
