I updated to v 4.29 a few days ago and still had all the same issues that we've all been complaining about.
Today I checked my version number and it had changed to 4.28.2?!! Did they roll back?
So I went to Play Store and it said there was another version available, so I downloaded it and am now on v 4.28.3!
I'm so confused. I wonder what, if anything, 4.28.3 has fixed. Guess I will find out soon unless it all disappears again! 😂

Hi @kevin.smith.isu have you tried restarting the watch, clearing the Fitbit cache, o data? Stopping the Fitbit app through the phone settings? Restarting the phone?

4.3 is awful. 12yrs of weight data now can't be viewed easily and only displays average. No BMI. I liked seeing the actual weight with the trend line through it. If I take about half a dozen steps the old weight data interface shows but presumably that'll go eventually.
Whilst some people may not care about this field it has been a crucial tool in my weight loss and management - frustrating.

My Pixel 6 phone updated Fitbit to 4.30 two days ago. Some of the screens have changed to a new layout. Otherwise, the issues I have observed are still present. Based on what I have read in another thread and my own observations, I think it might be an issue in my Google Watch 3. I started noticing issues after I had been updated to 4.29 for more than a week.
Another user fixed the issues in Fitbit by totally disconnecting/deleting the GW3 from Fitbit and his phone, factory resetting the GW3, and then painstakingly installing a couple dozen updates 1 by 1 and relinking the GW3 to the phone and Fitbit. I am hoping for an easier fix. I suspect that only part of what the other user did was necessary. If so, then which part?
While we wait for a solution have a Terrific day!

Hello @Goosse1962
If you haven't received & installed the November update for the Pixel Watch 3 yet, you might want to wait until after that update to try any troubleshooting.

Thank you @RiekoC. How do I know which month I have? My PW3 shows that it is up to date on Android version 1.14 with a security update for September 5, 2024. It is set for automatic updates. There are a bunch of other numbers under versions for parts of the system.
Thank you for your help and have a Terrific day!

Hello @Goosse1962
It looks like you don't have the November update for the Pixel Watch yet. This update is still rolling out and could take another week or so to roll out to all users. When you get it, your watch's system info will show the November 5 update.
I know which post you're talking about. I believe that user had to install/update each app 1 by 1 due to an issue they experienced. I had to do a factory data reset on my Pixel Watch 3 earlier this week and was able to use a backup. All the apps on my watch updated/installed without any problems, thankfully.

Thank you @RiekoC. The security update arrived during last night's charge. The phone Fitbit is back to normal. However, I noticed this morning that the GW3 is 3-4 minutes fast
The missing data from before last night is still missing. This looks like a compatibility issue between updates on the watch and phone.
Thank you for the help and have a Terrific day!
