Why can't I setup Charge 4 using my Google account in the Android app?

I'm trying to setup my new Charge4. I just created the Fitbit account using my Google account. But the android app is not giving an option to login using the google authentication. It seems weird!!

@PaglaDashu Welcome to the Fitbit Community. Thanks for the details mentioned. 

 

If you account has been created, just log into the Fitbit app using your Google email address and password set when it was created. I'd like you to make sure this set up procedure is being followed.
