I recently got the Cardio load feature and have been waiting 2 weeks for my daily target load to appear. It hasn't show up yet, but have been intermittently getting a popup reminder on what target load range I should aim for (usually very low), Are they the same? I thought target load would also show up as a horizontal band in the target load graph.
Why should we wait weeks for a recommended target load to appear? If it has to go back a month of heart rate data, couldn't it just get the avg heart rate for the day, subtract my RHR and calculate the cardio load for each day?

Hi, @phatbitzr! I'm in the same situation as you. I've heard from friends who have had the feature for a while (on the PW) that one day it will just appear on the graph. They say it's a little rough in the beginning, but then it starts working pretty well after the first month or so. I'm impatient, too! I don't know why they couldn't retroactively take the data before the feature turned on.

Thanks for that info. The popup reminder disappears so I might not remember what the message (regarding I am working too hard, etc) and the target load it wants me to be in for that day. Hopefully, it will give a useful target load going forward. It gave me a target load of 39 - 181 today and something like 1-65 on another day.

I have the same problem (Luxe, Android). The pop up mentions a target but it says "no goal" on the cardio load tile and nothing shows on the graph.
I can't really believe that it's time related since my husband did get a target and he activated the cardio load feature a few days after me...

I cancelled the box with the message about my cardio load (since it does not appear in the target load tile). Do you know if it will reappear tomorrow? Without it I do not know my target!

Hello @Activelyalexand
The message will re-appear tomorrow.
When you open the Cardio load page, it's supposed to show you the cardio target range for the day.

Supposed to? Well that's what I, and, apparently, everyone else here, thinks too... except it doesn't. Somehow it has enough info to give you a recommendation for a range, but not enough info to show the range that it recommends? This is what I came here to find out, and it seems like it's just... BS – just like "readiness."
I gave up waiting for "readiness" to show up since, for months on end all it has ever showed was "wear your device for seven more nights" when, like many others here, I've been using this for years, so I can't imagine what data they're lacking...

Sometimes it reappears the next day. Sometimes it doesn't show up again for a couple of days. I just try to remember it, since it can't seem to show the range it recommends.

I don't see anything about "goal" at all, but I do see the ability to "adjust target" but that turns out to be about whether I'm looking to maintain or improve, so it's not my target cardio load for any given day. I thought maybe I'd be able to manually enter what it was telling me in the temporary message, but that's not what that setting is.

Hello @phatbitzr , @PAS6974 , @digitalison , @Activelyalexand , @flauschtrud
I saw a Moderator post from 07 Jan 2025 stating that an update to the Fitbit app will start rolling out soon and includes fixes for the Cardio Load & Target Cardio Load general issues. That said, I've seen some users reporting that they got the update to version 4.35.
The updates tend to rollout in waves. Keep checking your app store for the update and install it when it's available to you.
If you are still seeing issues after installing the update, please post in this thread in the Charge 6 forum (<-- click link) with the details of the issues you're seeing, and tag DavidFit, the Moderator, posting in the thread. He will forward the information to the engineers and let them know what issues are still being seen after installing the update.
