Why does Fitbit not allow horizontal scrolling on its app data?

Came to Fitbit after I switched from my Galaxy Watch 8 to Pixel Watch 4. Was immediately put off by the app.

It is so easy to horizontally scroll across data on Samsung Health or Apple Health apps and have your own custom view of things. I can see how my steps on Monday compared to Sunday, for example, by scrolling across 2 weeks of data.

On Fitbit though, you can only view a particular time period and not have it overlap with any other view. It's either that week, or that month, or that year. If 1st of Jan is a Monday for example, you will literally only see one bar across the weekly, monthly and yearly timeline - you cannot compare it with 31st December.

You just cannot have a comparative view with previous periods.

Hi, @bhardwajshash, welcome to the community. We are a community of user volunteers who use our experience & knowedge to assist anyone who is looking for help. We are not Fitbit or Google employees. If you have a feature suggestion, you can post it at  Fitbit Community  which is monitored by moderators. Before posting your detailed suggestion, you should use the search bar to see if any posted suggestions are similar to yours or merit your vote.

I hope this helps.

Cheers
