I see there is a new Fitbit android app version. It is available on Google Play, but Google does not recognize the BlackBerry Classic. There is an old app version (2016) on the Amazon app store. Given that Fitbit sells a ton of devises on Amazon, why isn't the updated app available on Amazon?
Btw, the email link to join challenges takes me to a screen to download the app. In the old days of programming, the devise/brower version would be detected and the user would be told -- "Fitbit does not support the BlackBerry phone being used. Sorry, you must use your laptop/pc version of the app to accept challanges."
If Fitbit wants to be known as a software firm, rather than a hardware/gadget firm. Then, making software more user friendly might help.
Why can a individual buy the product on Amazon, but cannot download the current Fitbit app on Amazon?

I realized that too. And the Google Maps don't load on any of my Amazon Devices Fire HD 6, Fire HD 8 and Fire Phone but all of them work nice with the Play Store App. I'd really prefer if it would be up to date as well.
