Why want my Fitbit stay synced to my phone

Hi @Racing2. It's great to see a new face around.

To help you with your inquiry, it's required to keep your Fitbit syncing with your phone to get some features working, such as notifications and live data displayed. In the case of the Charge 3, Versa's family devices and the Ionic, the regular connection allows you to use certain apps installed in your device. If you prefer to have the Bluetooth turned off in your phone, be sure that your Fitbit device will continue tracking your information and sync it in the Fitbit app once the Bluetooth is turned back on.

@LizzyFitbit, concerning @Racing2 's question, I read it as "why won't my fitbit stay synched to my phone?" which with all the current problems is far more likely (and obvious).

A minor typo seems to have gone off on a major tangent.
