Why the choice of message notifications?

why do I have to choose whether to get notifications from WhatsApp/skype/text? I receive messages from them all. Is it not possible to select multiple messaging apps or at least have a general notifications one and a detailed messaging one. 

I was looking at the Windows forum and the notifications that are in testing for that seem to be able to do this

It be awesome if being able to choose any programs desired to get notifications from. Not being limited to one..

 

Feel free to add your suggestions to the 'Feature Requests' Sub Forum, where users can vote, add comments,.. if there's a certain interest then there's a chance the developers pick it up and it'll be developed.

 

Important to prevent duplicates Search if the idea already has been suggested and add your vote / comment! Smiley Wink
