I want to see my steps in the Android Widget vs the calories burned. Searching previous posts says to go to your account and change your goals to show steps instead of calories. This doesn't work, as I don't have that option in my account. (Am I now going to have to pay premium for this?) Is there another way to change this? I can't find it.
I just use the Android widget/app to monitor my steps and want to see that on the widget.
I am using the new HTC 10, with the Fitfit version 2.24 (218957). I use this same version of the app, with the widget on my HTC M8 and it shows steps. (Of course, my HTC M8 is unlocked, and rooted, with a premium ROM)
I have the same issue putting fitbit on my wife's Droid phone. All we want to do is use the app and the widget to track our steps. That is more realistic of a tracking goal for us, vs tracking calories burned.
Thank you,

I've got the latest widget on my Android phone and I see steps. When I go into the app settings menu, then choose Devices, then click on my Fitbit device, I see in the General section "Main Goal". And that is set to Steps.

I suppose I should also mention that I do not have any fitbit devices. I only have used the built in movement tracker in the Android phones. So I don't have the option to choose a device, except for the actual name of the phone, and there isn't an option to see other actions except to sync.
