Windows 10 to Android Oreo lack of editing function

Hi all, first time here.

I fail to understand why when swapping from a Windows 10 (Lumia 950) to an ASUS ZenFone 4 TW Spec with Android Oreo that I am now unable to edit manually set workouts. Automatic recorded ones yes. My main reason for going back to an Android phone was lack of support for Windows 10 phones now. Fitbit was fine on it though. I am now very annoyed with this lack of functionality because I often forget to stop a manually started workout type but was fine on my Windows 10 phone because I could edit it later. Excellent. But now I can't on the Fitbit app on the latest Android or if I go online to my dashboard. So annoying and a big step backwards for me.

Same issue going from iOS to Android. Like you I sometimes forget to manually turn off tracker. I really liked the ability to be able to go in to the app and adjust it. Definitely missing that functionality. Hope it gets addressed soon.

Hi @SunsetRunner,

I noticed the same change in functionality going to Android. Being able to edit manual workouts is why I keep a copy of the Win10 Fitbit app running on a laptop.

There has been a proposal for this made, that you can add your vote to here. Hopefully, Fitbit will see the huge interest in this feature, which I use almost daily to trim workout times. Hope this helps.

Cheers for that. That is a good idea and will definitely try doing it that way until, hopefully they can sort this issue out.

Thanks again..

Hi,

Cheers for commenting.

The only way around this issue is to use the fitbit app on a Windows PC/Laptop where we are able to make edits to workouts. Not ideal when we just want to get on with doing all this on our phones but it is the only real option at the moment.

Kind regards
