Won't Pair with Phone - Need to Return?

My new fitbit alta will not pair with my phone. I have restarted both devices and the bluetooth on my phone but that did not help. I thought it might be because my phone is incompatible (I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 5) however, it synced just fine with my husband's fitbit. 

 

Do I need to return this? Incredibly disappointed because we have been saving up to purchase these and now it does not even work.

Welcome to the Fitbit family @AShEvans! Thanks for taking the time to troubleshoot this prior posting by restarting your tracker and phone. Actually, your Galaxy Note 5 is compatible and I have found an article with troubleshooting steps. Check it out here! Cat Tongue
