Since the new update my Fitbit charge 2 does not do automatic exercise logging .I have been walking for more than 30 mins .

@TRACY823, are you referring to the firmware update to the Charge 2, or the Android update to v3.2?  If you are referring to the Charge 2 firmware update, did you restart the tracker after the update?

I have not restarted my tracker since the firmware update. I will try and see if that corrects the issue .
