Tried changing the workout type since Fitbit says Eliptical when I was outside running. However it WON'T let me change the blasted thing.. WTH

Hi, @2dogs2 welcome to the community. To change the exercise, touch the tile under Exercise (in your case, Eliptical) then the pen icon in the top right corner. In the activity slot enter Run. Not Running, note the capital "R", and you should see this -

Touch the "Run" under the exercise slot with the little icon next to it, and it will replace the "Run" you typed in the exercise slot. SAVE. Let us know how you get on. I'm using a Pixel 10 Pro XL, with the Fitbit app 4.51. Please let us know your phone details & Fitbit app version.

I tried that several times, with no luck on SAVE.    But, it seemed to
pull the correct information from Strava, so I guess that will work for
now..
