Wont sync to samsung 9

My Fitbit charge 2 will not sync with my new samsung galaxy 9. I have done all the suggestions and troubleshooting steps. If this is not compatible that needs to be corrected. It's not like the s9 was unexpected news to anyone. Why wouldn't Fitbit be proactive and be ready? I'm a lil upset. I have to use my old s6 still for it to sync the data. Just kinda ridiculous.

Not an answer , but since the last Fitbit update it will not sink to my Motorola Droid turbo either. I have run thru all the suggestions with no results. Yet when I sink on my computer the info transfers to my phone. No heart rate or exercise tracking though. Any one out there? HELP!

My s9 and charge 2 won't sync either. I have to reboot my charge each time I want to scyn. Ridiculous.
