Workweek hustle not updating with actually steps

The steps on my main page of fit but are not syncing with the workweekly challenge I am on.  

Steps are over 10,000

Workweek hustle is showing only a little over 7,000

More info is needed @Mary-H 

Is the creator of the hustle in your timezone? Did you manually log any steps, take a bike ride?

all I did was my steps and normal things, but it did not record what was on my fitbit onto the app.

However it started back up the next day.  but still did not finish recording on the app from the day before.
