Hi All
I upgraded phones recently and tried to sync my new phone to my Versa 3. I initially had issues with the disconnection icon appearing on my watch but managed to fix this by turning off the battery mode to unrestricted.
I am still unable to receive any notifications through my watch however, I had a Xiaomi Note 8 Pro which pushed through notifications no problem (however it did have sync issues that required me to restart my phone every now and then).
I've followed tutorials on how to fix this from the settings on my phone. The battery is still unrestricted and I was able to push through the test call, but no actual notifications hit my watch. I have that red "Notification service not running" message and despite turning off phone, clearing cache, clearing data and eventually deleting and reinstalling the app it still doesn't work.
I will also say, I really don't want some automated message that moderators keep sending to people about the Huawei fix because firstly, it's a totally different menu and secondly it is not a fix at all. I also have seen messages that this is "a known issue that is under investigation". I really feel this is totally unacceptable for a device to stop working like this, surely there is an actual fix for this problem?

I said I would message back here since the official fitbit Community posters seem to be about as useful as **ahem** on a bull.
My issue was resolved by doing a factory reset on my watch and starting from scratch.
