I was so fond of my Fitbit Ionic that I recently bought one for my brother. A short time later, mine became a real let-down as the app stopped functioning properly.
My Fitbit was working great alongside of my Mi 6 phone for about a year, but it seems that with the last update, if suddenly is no longer compatible and the app keeps crashing when I'm trying to use it. I see that Mi 6 is now listed as an incompatible phone on this website. I don't understand what the problem is, I have read other forums and tried lots of different things. I was finally able to get logged in to the app again and sync my watch, but it still crashes when I'm using it, and has yet to load the section for entering meals/food.
Since I was able to use the app on my Mi 6 without problem for that long, I would like to know why you have decided to break it. I love the watch, but it frankly just isn't as great without the companion app in working order. Perhaps you could work on a patch so that it will work properly again.

Hi @bikerxjake. It's nice to have you on board.
Thanks for your love towards your Ionic, as well for sharing detailed information about the issues experiencing with the Fitbit app. Our team has researched that the Bluetooth from this phone's isn't able to connect with our Fitbit devices and this is why this model isn't compatible with the Fitbit app. I understand that it used to work before, however there isn't a guarantee that it'll always connect since the Fitbit app and it's latest versions weren't optimized to work with your phone and its Bluetooth connection.
You can still give a try to our troubleshooting steps. However if you're still having issues to sync or receive notifications, I'd recommend to use another supported device or a computer with built Bluetooth so you can keep tracking your information.
I'm sorry for this inconvenience and we'll continue working to enhance your experience based on your comments.
See you around!
