I have a fitbit account under a gmail account from forever ago way before google bought fitbit. i havent used my fitbit in forever so i decided to get it out and realized i need to migrate to google. cool. i go to do that for me and my daughter (she has my old charge 2 and I have a versa 2). Not cool.
Our google accounts are tied up. my daughters is supervised under our google family in family link. my husband who does not use fitbit nor have an account is the family manager. i am a supervising parent, and we have two kids being supervised. I was having issues getting her account set so i figured the issue was my fitbit email wasn't the one i use to supervise our family, so i changed my fitbit account email to the email that i use for my supervision account. but now, i can't migrate my account to google and my daughter's account is still needing an adult to help. this is absolutely frustrating. i tried creating a basic fitbit account for my husband and it shows his google family there but doesnt show any way to migrate my account or make fitbit accessible to my daughter's account. it says my account is already in a family group and only the account that originally made the family group can make that move, but that is my husband's account, and it's stupid because im a supervising adult and should be able to make the move too. HELP because im not leaving my family group and im not wanting to delete my fitbit and lose years and years of data

Hello @MatchaCosmos
Sadly, this is a messy & complicated situation. Unfortunately, users in a Family Link account aren't able to migrate their Fitbit account to their Google account.
Regarding your daughter's account, you won't be able to set up an "adult" Fitbit device for her as long as she is a supervised account. If she's already 13, she could be removed from the Family Link group and set up her own Google account. Then, the Fitbit device can be set up. Some parents have been able to add the child back as a supervised account after the Fitbit device was set up. Please see this thread (<-- click) on a similar situation.
