Zone minute averages are wrong

1000013859.jpg

The way zone minutes are averaged over the week is bizarre and counterintuitive. It seems like it doesn't include days where the number of zone minutes is zero in the calculation, so if I got 80 minutes on one day and zero minutes on the remaining six days of the week, the daily average would be 80 minutes! This seems like a glitch, does it show up the same way for other people?

Thanks for reading,

Grace

You are right.  I hadn't noticed that in average Zone Minutes calculation before, but now that you mention it, I remember from many years ago, I think that is common to all calculated averages in Fitbit. It must be built into a basic subroutine deep within the Fitbit coding for calculating averages.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
