I have the Fitbit app running on my Android phone. For the last two days, when I complete my sleep tracking, the screen flashes "No sleep data". The only information I have in Recovery > Sleep now, is Bedtime and Wake up. The sleep graph has been gone for some time now, but at least it had been displaying times awake and times restless. Now that is gone.
If I navigate back through the dates, the information will display briefly, then after less than a second, the information disappears, and does not return.
With the dashboard gone, now I have no way of tracking when I was awake or restless.
Please tell me this an unexpected bug and will be fixed soon.
Details: App is Fitbit 4.45, phone is Samsung S20 FE 5G, tracker is Inspire 1
Also note: I tried to apply the following labels to my post: Mobile App, Sleep Data, Inspire, Android, but the system would not let me save the post because the labels "are not available".

I have encountered the same problem this morning and can’t see when I was awake during the night. All the historic data has also disappeared, it’s very frustrating

This morning when I completed my sleep, it did not say "no sleep data", it just showed my Bedtime and Wake up.

I used to have problems with sleep classifications when I used Start Sleep feature. Why don't you let the device to its own sleep tracking?
Start Sleep feature is meant for Fitbit users that don't have devices and use mobile app for tracking stuff.

That's a good question SunsetRunner. Ever since I started using the Inspire, it has never detected sleep; I can only register sleep if I manually start and stop it via the Fitbit app on my phone.
That does not explain why up until three days ago, the app was displaying my sleep data (times awake, times restless, etc.).

This is the exact same thing that happened to me. Thursday 26th only showed bed and wake times. Wednesday 25th still showed awake and restless info. Tuesday 24th data has gone all together and now all historically data of awake and restless times cannot be seen. As Camerasue said. Initially when i scrolled back days it would show briefly and then disappear.
Using Version 4.45, Samsung S21 Galaxy, Tracker is the OG fitbit flex.
what it use to show
Only shows this now and data is incorrect

Same issue. This is the third day in a row. Tried all the usual things. Disappointed in product consistency.

Thanks all for confirming that there is an issue.
@Romiekin2 Can you let us know what your Fitbit device is; just as a comparison?

Hello @CameraSue , @Romiekin2 , @G2theMFL , @MattieSilver
By any chance are you also having issues with heart rate tracking? Do you see a green light on the back of your device? The green light is the optical heart rate sensor and is needed for sleep tracking.
If you aren't seeing the green light, check the Settings tile on your device and ensure that Heart rate is enabled.
As SunsetRunner mentioned, you will not get sleep stages when you manually start & stop your sleep. To get the detailed sleep stages, your device needs to detect your sleep and track it.

Please try uninstalling and re-installing the Fitbit app on your mobile device. This method has worked to restore historic data for many users:

@RiekoC I have the Inspire (1st version) and it does not track my heart rate. And as I mentioned before, until three days ago, I was getting the times awake and restless stats even though I have manually started and stopped my sleep record, since my device has never been able to track sleep for me.

Hello @CameraSue
Thank you for explaining that your Inspire doesn't track your heart rate. My apologies for not recognizing that fact.
Although I'm not sure that this will work, have you tried un-installing & re-installing the Fitbit app? Also, which version of the Fitbit app are you using?

Hi @CameraSue
Thanks for confirming that you already tried uninstalling & re-installing the app without success.
I believe an update to the Fitbit app, ver 4.46, has already started rolling out, but I don't know if will fix the problem that you're experiencing.
I'll continue to monitor the forums for a fix or update and will report back if I have any news to share.

As of June 24, I am no longer seeing sleep data when I wear my Fitbit One on my wrist to track sleep. You are probably asking why am I still using my Fitbit One. Last August (2024), Fitbit silently turned off the step tracking syncing with the Fitbit One, but I have been able to use it to track sleep. I use a Fitbit Charge 3 (worn on my hip) for my step tracking now. I wasn't sure if Fitbit had finally silently fully "killed" the Fitbit One by now removing sleep tracking, but reading that others are having issues with sleep tracking as of a week ago, makes me think that this is just another technical issue with Google and Fitbit.

The issue has been resolved for me now, i am getting the details i had before. However, there are no details for all of my historical data other than sleep and wake times.

@G2theMFL Did your app upgrade beyond 4.45? And just to confirm, you can see the amount of time that you were: Awake, Restless, and Asleep and the timeline that goes with each?

Hello @G2theMFL
Have you had a chance to uninstall then re-install the Fitbit app? When other users had issues with historical data, this method worked to restore their missing data.
Please let us know if this worked to restore your historical data.

My app has been updated to v4.46 a couple of days ago, but no change for me. Still no data, and when I navigate back through the dates, when I reach a date that still had the additional sleep data of times awake, restless, and asleep, the data disappears.
I have provided feedback through the app several times but have not had any response. So I am here to say again, that there is something wrong with the app and it is important to have access to the sleep data that is recorded by my device.
