cannot connect a new device to my phone

I have spent the last two days trying to connect my fit bit charge 2 to my samsung phone and it will noty connect. I really do not know what te issue is I had no problem the last fit bit i had. I unpaired that device and tried to set up a new device but have had no joy at all at all. I WOULD REALLY  appreciate some help

@ellensheehan3, could you provide a little more information, such as how far you get in the Set up a Device process? What message(s) are you getting?  Have you opened the phone's Bluetooth settings, looked to see if there are any Fitbit devices there?  If so, select them and tell Bluetooth to Forge the device.
