Please can somebody offer help?

I downloaded the app to my phone, all was working well, but then I had a major problem with my phone and had to restore it to factory settings.  The app was therefore deleted.  

I cannot now install it, I get a message saying 'already installed on this device',  - which of course it was, it has been deleted not uninstalled. How can I tell the app that I don't have it installed?  

Nobody to date has understood this problem!  It is not the phone, the app is not hidden, it is deleted. There must be somebody who can help!  Please!!

Can anyone help please!  

My phone had to be reset to it's factory settings, so the app was deleted.  However I cannot now get it back as I get the message 'already installed on this device'.  which of course it was, it has been deleted not uninstalled.  How can I tell the 'app' that I need to reinstall it to the same device?  

The only advice I have got so far is that it is a problem with my phone - it isn't - it's a problem with the app not knowing it has been deleted.
