flex 2 not connecting after 2/23 app update android

my flex 2 was working perfectly well till the app updated and now its useless. Ive been through all the help to restart the device, restart my phone, uninstall, reinstall and still nothing. Its being picked up via my handsets bluetooth but the app says its not there. how can i fix this? i have a samsung s4

I have the same issue with syncing after I updated the Android version of the app

i got it to work eventually after a few hours but its very unstable

Mine isnt syncing now, either. All I get is: Sync error, please try again.

I did the nuclear option and it worked. I deleted the device from the app
and set it up again, now all is working

how ironic a week later it is doing the same things after working kind of okay for the rest of the week. cant keep going through this every sunday! now its not being picked up at all on bluetooth on any device i have
