I'm having problems with syncing my Fitbit charge 2 to get notification via text message and phone call notification.

If the problem is syncing, I recommend following the instructions provided in the Having trouble syncing? post and about the notifications follow @MarreFitbit's instructions in the My tracker isn't receiving notifications (Android Fitbit app) post.

I no longer get texts from my Samsung Galaxy S7 since my latest update on my phone. Any suggestions?

@pidge52, have you checked the Device settings in the Fitbit app to ensure Notifications did not get disabled with the Fitbit app update? Did you also restart your phone after the last Fitbit app update?
Do you have a Charge 2 tracker? If so, did you check that Notifications are enabled on the tracker? Press & hold the side button about 3 seconds to toggle the Notifications from Off to On.

I was able to click on the link provided above and go into Allow Notification Access in the FitBit App to reset my messaging options. I think the Samsung update wiped out all of my previous settings as none were checked.
