Why can I no longer set the alarm on the updated app?!!

You can, but the setting is not so easy to find.

 

On the main "today" tab of the dashboard, select your profile image at the top left of the screen, then select your fitbit. You will then be on the device settings where you'll find the alarms

Your instructions worked for me thank you. Seems a bit long winded. I would prefer the Alam setting a bit easier accessed.
