please fix the bug that the amount keeps resetting to previous value when logging food (and more)

This bug when logging food is annoying as hell. Sometimes I need to put in the amount 5 times and it keeps resetting to a previous value. This only happens after a few foods have already been logged for that day.

 

Also the search resets randomly while typing.

 

And another one: the back button after looking at an item should bring you back to the search results, not the overview.

 

And another one: there should be the possibility to send updates for specified food to the database, or at least allow adding the barcode to an item. There are plenty of meals that are in the database not connected to a code. This would take me 5 seconds to do it when I find one.

Yes, the problem of the amount continuing to reset itself seems to have gotten worse over time.  I've resorted to inputting meals through my work-issued iPhone or the website when possible, over my personal android.  Unfortunately, the IOS app doesn't use decimals so some amounts of food can't be entered right, but to compensate it handles custom foods much better and has that "frequently eaten with" function or whatever it's called.

 

I really wish someone would go through the database and fix duplicated entries and useless copies.  The search results only show so many things, and when half of them are the exact same freaking thing (e.g. thirty entries for a given standard item like carrots, or twelve separate entries for a Sam Adams Oktoberfest because for some reason there needs to be a distinct entry for each restaurant that serves it, or five entries for a given food and you don't know which one has the proper units).

 

 

Yeah, yeah, I know.  Use MFP <rolleyes>.  Just what I need, another app to figure out.
