"All-day-sync" turns itself back on.

In the interest of prolonging my battery life, I turn of all day sync. However, I find that after closing the app fully (stopping the background running), all day sync will turn itself back on. I want to be able to to switch it off and it actually stay off. Why is it turning back on? It stays off if I leave the app running in the background, but I would like all day sync to stay off while the app is not running. How can I do this?

@TetreauMatt, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit app since the "All-Day-Sync" feature enables by itself. By the way, thank you for trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

Please make sure that your phone has the most recent Fitbit app version installed. If the app is up to date, try logging out of your account, restart your phone, open the app, make sure that the "all-day-sync" feature is disabled. Finally, monitor the feature and see if it stops turning on by itself.
