I checked the Fitbit app Thursday night 8/27/20 and it wouldn't log in to Fitbit. The pebble isn't syncing because the app won't connect.  My phone's internet connection is fine (I'm posting this). The error I get is "Fitbit. com is unavailable. Please try again later. ."

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Verizon

App was update on August 17

Last sync was on August 22.

That's the same date that my windows pc fitbit connect stopped connecting to my cat's flex.    Every time I try to sync it tells me:fitbit Capture.PNG

It's obvious I have internet on the desktop because I'm here writing this reply.  I've had no problem with the app, ever since Fitbit forced us to use an app on the computer... I'm frustrated as all hell!  I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app and no change.

Sorry, @donkey26. Did you get that worked out?

Nope...  it would probably help if  I knew how the fitbit connect was trying to connect, but I am clueless.  It was working fine on my other computer (running windows 7), but after the hd died I went back to my older computer (running windows 7) and it doesn't like the connection even though everything is plugged in the same way

Having the same issue since last night. I have ran through the troubleshooting list several times and still have the same issue. I contacted support and still no resolution.

Welcome to the Community, @Dartanion56.

Thanks for the details and for the troubleshooting performed. I've seen you reached out to our Support team and that the Fitbit app works with mobile data. Are you running any sort of VPN on your phone? If that's the case, this could be the reason why the Fitbit app is having trouble to connect to the internet when you're using WiFi as you can see on this post. So you can make a test by connecting to a WiFi network without using VPN.

See you around.
