Everytime I go into my fitbit app, it says no internet connection even though I can see that I very well do have connection. I have a Samsung J7. I've tried to turn on and off my wifi/data in numerous different ways (wifi only, data only, etc.) I also have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, log in and out, and even create new accounts. Nothing seems to work and other peoples' problems seem to be on apple Iphones so someone please help me.

The fitbit I am trying to connect to is an Inspire. This started to happen a few months after I got it for christmas. Since it wasnt able to connect to my phone, everytime it died, the time would be off therefore not having accurate time and step count. After a while it was so off that I decided to not even wear it. I got this so that I can use it I thought, and finally am trying to fix it. It is currently 2:30 and my watch says that it is 8:45 with 494 steps and all I did was walk up the stairs, so there is no way it took me 494 steps to do.
