Hello

I am using the Hwawei Y7 2019.  My Fitbit Versa does not receive any notifications from the phone.

I have tried all the suggestions and nothing works.  I am extremely frustrated and I need help.

I keep seeing this message on the app under the notification section: "Notification service not running. A phone restart is required to re-enable notifications of your tracker".

I have restarted my phone many times and this has not helped in any way.  I have deleted the app and redownloaded.  Unpaired the devise and repaired.  Turned notifications off and back on again.  Nothing works.

I dont know what else to do.  I need help!!!!

Hi @Dhireu13. Welcome on board.

Thanks for taking the time to share these details, as well for the troubleshooting steps that you've tried prior posting. I'm sorry that you're having this experience, and let me help you out.

Let me share that our team is aware of this error message which has affected some of our users, and we're receiving feedback posted in the Community to investigate and get this fixed. I've noticed that your Huawei Y7 2019 phone isn't a supported device, meaning that the Fitbit app hasn't been fully optimized for this phone. Currently I don't have a time frame when the fix will be available, and while we cannot guarantee a full connection between your phone and the Versa since your phone isn't compatible, we'll make sure to work on this situation.

Feel free to reply back if you need anything else.
