"Unknown Caller" and text message issues

I recently got a new Android phone ( my last phone was an Android as well), my text messages do not go through to my Versa and when my phone rings, it appears as "unknown caller" even when they are in my contacts.  I've disconnected and reconnected the bluetooth.  I confirmed it is paired to my phone. My Versa is updated. My notifications are turned on in the Fitbit app and Versa, as well as my phone.  Do not disturb is not on.  Is there something that I am missing?

I appreciate the information that was shared in your post and for making sure that some settings are correctly configured, and for troubleshooting this prior to posting. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which Android mobile device are you using? This occurs with any call notification you receive or just with specific contacts?  

 

If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to receive notifications on your Versa are correctly configured. After verifying this, please try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone and let me know how it goes.
